William (Bill) Pirtle has been in the credit card processing industry since 2004. He created MPCT Publishing Company to produce his book, Navigating Through the Risks of Credit Card Processing (2010), which helps both agents and business owners understand the basics of credit card processing.
Bill has acted as a consultant to business owners and processing agents with his company Merchant Processing Consulting & Training LLC. In September of 2010, Bill was signed to write for an industry magazine, The Green Sheet. He is the current Street Smarts columnist.
Before his career in credit card processing, Bill had 10 years of retail management work and is experienced in training staffs on cash handling, fraud prevention and credit card processing. He received his B.A. from Michigan State University.
